Yes because A-Rod is the youngest to hit 500 HR's and if A-Rod doesn't get injured (like Ken Griffy Jr.) then he will probably surpass Barry Bonds in the all time Home Run lead. Barry Bonds has just tied the record a few minutes ago off of Clay Hensley against the San Diego Padres in the second inning. Go Barry Bonds!!! and go A-Rod!!!!

I pray to God that someone who's not associated with scandel breaks the record. Go ARod, Go! Bonds is a doped-up coward that's an embarassment to baseball.

I hope with all my heart that A-ROD surpasses Bonds---he already does in humility and as a measure of a man---I WATCHED him hit that 500th today and after the game he was interviewed and although it was a great achievement for HIM, he stood their and praised the rest of his team... Barry would NEVER have praised anyone but HIMSELF... Oh and I Truly hope that when A-ROD does surpass Bonds, that A-Rod does it in a Yankee Uniform---(yeah ok it's my favorite team, what can I say)

Yes.

He is way ahesad of Bonds pace.

When Bonds was 37 he hit his 500th home run.

A-Rod is 32 and has 500 home runs and counting!

Experts predict he will hit 800-850 home runs in his career.

Yes if he stays healthy and average 30+ home runs next 10 seasons he can have 800 home runs.
