First of all I do not suggest breaking your leg because after wards you will probably have to do physical therapy to get the leg rehabilitated which will be much worse than dancing or swimming, and on top of that you will be going through a lot of pain. Also breaking your leg would only be a temporary band aid for not swimming or dancing, you would probably be back into it after 6 weeks. If you still would like to break your leg try jumping down the stairs or jumping off the roof, but I still do not suggest it.

someone suggested talking to your parents if they are making you dance or swim. The trick about talking to parents is to offer an alternative. If you'd rather play soccer or be on a running team (or whatever), just say so, and be firm. If, however, you have to dance or swim for school, you need to address the root cause. Do you not want to do these activies because you have to change clothes in front of other girls? Are you ashamed of the shape of your body? If so, dancing and swimming will improve your shape. Are you ashamed of body hair? All body hair can be removed quite safely. Are you ahamed of other physical features like moles, a disability, skin condition, etc? Well you'd be surprised at what other kids are like. They might be nice. If you don't think they'll be nice, talk to the teacher and maybe you can make some other kind of arrangement like being allowed to come early or leave late so you change alone. Well anyway I don't know what your particular problem is but it's likely that if it's a real problem, it can be adressed.
If you're just lazy and don't want to do any activity, just suck it up. It's not going to be forever, and if you have to do it for school, it's just like every other class. Do enough to get a passing grade.

Trust me, you do not want to break your leg. My son broke his femur in a car accident 3 yrs ago. He has had 6 surgeries and a ton of pain. He couldn't walk, drive, go out with his friends or have any fun. He was 24 at the time of the accident, he's now 27. Almost all of his friends dumped him, including the girl he thought to marry. You're no fun to your friends if you can't do anything with them, besides lay on your bed & watch movies. After about the first 100 movies life gets very boring.
He still can't run, and probably never will. Playing tennis, snowboarding etc will always just be a memory for him.
On top of that he's had 3 yrs of physiotherapy, and pain.
He couldn't work for the 3 yrs and had to live at home on a disability.
He now sports a titanium plate that runs from the top of his hip bone to his knee. This has got screws every couple of inches all the way down. Also his scar runs the length of his leg, not counting all the other scars from his other leg surgeries.

Well, quite simple actually. You don't have to break your leg, just don't dance or swim. If it's your parents are making you do these things then calmly tell them why you would rather not, or if your a teenager you could pull the " I'll kill myself" card, which may land you in counseling for a while but it's better than dancing or swimming right?

seriously?? you don't want to dance or swim, so the best option you can think of is breaking your leg?? try spraining your ankle... you'll be thankful in the long run that you won't have to spend at least six weeks walking on crutches, and putting garbage bags over your let when you take a shower, not to mention doctor's bills will cost you close to $1000, and there's the fact that bone pain is some of the worst pain there is...
trust me, i broke my arm in a car wreck a few months ago... there is no way you could want to go through something like that voluntarily...

Whoever is making you think you have to do it, just dont. If they make you go, just sit out. Breaking your leg would be something you would do to save your life, not as an excuse to stop athletic things. Later on itll become a target for arthiris, maybe sooner, plus youll have other problems including pain. So, I would suggest not breaking your leg.
