You don't get it, do you?
Barry Bonds is a cheater. He didn't earn those hits. He's a cheater.

I doubt that Bonds haters have low IQs. People are entitled to their own opinion. As for myself, I dislike Bonds. Not because he may have cheated, though I think he did, but because of the way he portrays himself. He just doesn't seem like a very friendly guy. I'm sure he's different in person, but in the media, he just isn't very nice.
As far as being one of the greatest of his generation, or all time, he certainly is. There will always be some doubt, because of the era. He probably took steroids. He as much as admitted it, if the leaked grand jury testimony is true. Does that make his homeruns less valuable? Who knows. Home runs take more than just power to hit. I find 755 to be fishy, particularly since he never really hit homers at this rate in the "prime" of his career, but even at the lower pace, he'd be well over 500 homers, have a good batting average, and tons of stolen bases. That puts him at one of the best ever regardless.
People who dislike Bonds are racist? I think that may be an overgeneralization. Bonds has never tested positive for a banned substance. Neither has Mark McGuire. If Bonds haters are all racist, I would dearly like to see every single Bonds supporter who tries to float that statement past me ("He never tested positive") to sign a petition that McGuire belongs in the Hall. If Bonds didn't cheat, neither did McGuire. Only difference is, McGuire is white, so I can't be racist for hating him.

I'm not a fan of Barry Bonds but that is because of his arrogance, and I refuse to go to a ball game when he comes to town because the Boo Birds make me sick...they should appreciate the fact that he can hit the ball like he can. I don't care how big and strong he is, he could hit the ball when he was a scrawny college kid at ASU. The steroids just make it go further, so instead of a 353 foot homer he's hitting a 450 foot homer, they are both home rums.

...I'm not sure how you could say Barry "haters" have low IQs. I think he is not hated as much as questioned. There is so incidents that point negatively toward his career. I personally have never like Bonds as a baseball player. This going back to the pre-muscle, when he was a 185 lb speed daemon...
Oh well, who cares, on current base, A-Rod will break the record in 5.8 years. (avg 44 a yr)

My IQ is 117. I wouldn't call myself a Bonds hater but I strongly dislike him and think he is a cheater. Did you know his shoe size and hat size grew 3 sizes each? From 1999-2001. I don't think that is from working out. Although he's never been convicted look at a picture of him from 1988 and from 2002. Big difference. He said he did not knowingly take steroids in court.
Jabtheking-If you think that most Bonds haters are racist you are either completely lost or stupid. Guess what Hank Aaron was? Black. There was racism against him. Not Bonds. If you are suggesting someone like me is racist you have lost it.

No, Barry Bonds fans have low IQs because I didn't know that you can increase your head size by working out. And he says he did not know what he was taking. Of course not because he is a cheater and did not want anyone to know.

Well, I tested at a 135 IQ and for the record I don't hate Bonds, I just think he cheated to get an advantage.
As per your ID, you are obviously in favor of enhanced performance through chemical means....I prefer to compete 'naturally'.

It's the other way around.
Barry used to be a skinny little kid, now look at him!
And dont say its body building its called Balco.
And Bonds olny hit over 50 homeruns ONCE in his career and that is when he hit 73 homeruns in one season.
Can you say ''Balco?''

home runs hit fairly:
bonds* - 0
aaron - 755
aaron had harder competition and did it when it was a hard time for black people, there are so many signs that point to barry on steroids it's not even funny. everyone knows he's on steroids, it's just said what he did to the record, long live king hammerin' hank, barry is a disgrace

Bonds has cheated. Witnesses told the grand jury that Bonds has chated. His head also grew a full size. If he didn't cheat why did his head grow a full size? And for the guy who said Bonds haters are racist. Look a little more into the facts.
