Well there are many reasons, apparently some are natural, while others are code of conduct decided by the society.
1. Its a proved fact that Males are good at the things like engineering drawing, 3D and projection understanding as compared with females, same has been shown on NAT GEO.
2. Girls or females have ability to express themselves, precisely what I mean they have a good communication skills, rather compared to boys or males.
3. The code of conduct, of society compels us to abide by the protocol, in day to day life and once we start abiding them then we become habitual to that.

Men and women have certain areas that come easier to them: for men its easier to visualize spacial planes, for women its easier to communicate. I guess its impossible that they WOULDN´T be different, and of course its going to show in how they approach the same activity.
