Of course they are. Just like the hypocritical Met fans who cheer for Mota who was caught red handed but Boo Bonds out of the Stadium calling him a cheater. I bet anything that the hypocrite who caught the ball will not be giving it away anytime soon. So much for phonies vowing to throw the ball away if he did it in their stadium.

San Diego loves baseball. A number of quality MLB players are from San Diego so it stands to reason there is a knowledgable fan base.

Caminiti was a drug addict and a steroid user. "Turbocharging" one's self is not a good idea nor an idea that I respect. It's kind of like beating a blind man at darts when there's no one else around.

Cocaine and drug abuse is another activity that I do not consider a "redeeming quality".

Anyone who does these things (steroids or drugs) is not using good judgement as they both ruin lives.

By nature, ALL fans are hypocritical. It's only wrong if it doesn't help their team. This goes almost with out exception.

Hypocrites? The first thing Bonds did was thank the SD fans in his interview for being "outstanding". You KNOW that any other stadium would've booed the @&*$
out of Bonds when he hit it yesterday. They respect Caminitti because he ADMITTED to what he did and was still a great player. Tell me what your argument is?

Yes, but as you see, the cheers outweighed the jeers, so it shows there are only some hypocrites and not all hypocrites.

One cannot expect ethical consistency from those consumed by hatred. Hatred is inherently irrational.
