Dynamite can be, but does not have to be more powerful.
TNT is 2,4,6-TrinitroToluene.
Dynamite is Nitroglycerin absorbed onto a inert material. Pure Nitroglycerin is considered more powerful than TNT, however, then amount of Nitroglycerin in the inert material will determine the power of the Dynamite.
Because of the variability in the explosive power of Dynamite (depending upon the amount of Nitroglycerin used), TNT (a pure substance) is used as the standard for relating explosive power (such as in the TNT equivalent of nuclear detonations).

TNT is trinitrotoluene, a type of high explosive chemical.
Dynamite is a trade name for an explosive mixture of nitroglycerine along with binding agents such as cellulose, sawdust or diatomaceous earth and a paper wrapping. Dynamite is graded according to the percentage of NG that it contains.
Pure TNT has an explosive velocity of about 6,900 m/sec, and pure NG is about 7,700 m/sec. Therefore pure NG has slightly more energy than pure TNT for the same quanitity.
Dynamite usually only contains 40-70% NG, so you can't compare dynamite and TNT. Its like comparing apples and oranges; TNT is a specific chemical, and dynamite is a mixture of an explosive chemical and binding agents that make it safer and easier to use. There are too many variables to answer your question with certainty.

TNT.Since that TNT is shock sensitive liquid,it is more explosive compared to dynamite which expodes only when it is ignited.

I saw Nacho Libre and wanted those 2 hrs of my life back afterwards. I've been told by many people I have a killer sense of humor and I did not find that film to be funny in the least.
