It's not absolutely safe although it is unlikely that you will be hit by lightning. Each year on average one person dies in the US whilst having a shower during a lightning storm, two people die using telephones.
The cause is often inadequate or faulty safety protection which enables the current from the lightning strike to travel through metal plumbing.
To be on the safe side it's wise to wait until the storm has passed before taking a shower, using a phone, swimming outdoors etc.

It's not advisable! Many tubs are made out of metal--which might become electrified if lightening strikes close by--static discharges, which are what lightening is--can electrify even things not hit directly by the discharge itself--this is due to the ionic saturation of the air mass surrounding the discharge--also talking on any type of phone would not be advisable either--and I would unplug any appliances that I wanted to keep safe in the event that an electrical storm was to become very intense.

It really depends on the age of the house and how the plumbing was done. the different materials the house was made of and whether the plumbing is grounded gives the answer. Even if the house is old with poor grounding the chances are slim to none. So unless you are in a very old house with bad plumbing and you have beyond horrible luck, then I would say you are safe.

Yes. You cannot be harmed by lightning while showering indoors. There are so many more efficient paths to ground, and 'way too many sharp bends in the pipes, which lightning can't go around.
Don't shower outdoors under a tree or swim in a river or lake during a lightning storm.

Yes, it's safe, unless you think a lightning bolt is going to come out of the sky through your window and into your bath tub. I would say a bath tub is more risky then a normal shower though, although both have literaly no risk.
