1977 World Series he hit 4 home runs on 4 consecutive swings..last time up in game 5 and in game 6 walked on 4 consecutive pitches first time up and then proceeded to hit 3 on the next 3 consecutive swings...a fact...my question is did he take any pitches or did he swing on the very first pitch during those last 3 truns at bat???

First pitch (0-0 count) on each of those homers.

One of the very most impressive and amazing single-game performances ever, and on the best possible stage -- a championship-clinching game in Yankee Stadium. Yeah, Reggie had style.

I'm pretty sure he took a few pitches in there.

Sidenote: He also hit a homerun on his first swing of the 1978 season. So it was really homers on 5 consecutive swings.

Another question regarding Jackson is how big a bruise on him when he interfered with a throw in a World Series game, umps did not call it despite replays which show that he stepped into it on purpose.
