James924 exactly my point. All I hear is criticism of my country, not of the zealots that dragged us into this. That doesn't seem correct to me, completely backwards actually.

clambacke you support my theory wonderfully, somehow, the US is responsible in your eyes. I hardly see how purchasing oil creates terrorists. Big leap for my simple mind to tell you the truth. maybe you can elaborate?

Saddam Hussein was not without crimes worthy of being ousted. Just because the international community liked to talk the talk obviously doesn't mean anything at all whatsoever. You should be proud to be part of a country at such a time as this. No other country in the world has the integrity to follow through with anything as important as what we are doing right now. Although I cannot state with certainty anything about what might have been, I don't believe anybody else here can either.

insighthere what have you ever said about terrorists? my point is, people will bash our own country night and day before saying anything at all about terrorists, as if the terrorists are the victims and we should be ashamed of ourselves for confronting them

The single most selfish thing we have done is taking our war on terror to an innocent country and proclaim that as good. In the process destroying thousands of innocent lives in the process.
That is inhuman.
The war on terror has no borders and must be done surgically. All we are doing now is breeding terrorists faster then we can eliminate them.
Doing the math, and extrapolating out our military adventures into these wars and the amount of insurgents we kill on an average day and the estimated numbers. Three years ago I did that and the war would last somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 years. Now, with the increase of insurgents and terrorism world wide, I'd say we are in a thousand year war.
Now do you understand how frigging dumb we are?
On the other hand, I've been saying this for years. When it comes to war and conflicts, follow the money. According to a congressional report in 2005, we supply 34% of the worlds arms. Some put that over 50%. If we didn't have the military industrial complex hydra to feed, just how peaceful would the world be?
peace

From "Truth above: Roger Baldwin, the founder of the A.C.L.U. was an avowed Stalinist. He thought Stalin was the greatest leader the world had ever seen. He even wrote articles denying the millions that were starved to death by Stalin. Baldwin stated in his writing's many of the same things posted here. Numbers 16, 17, 25, 27, and 28 are all things I have seen in my life time happen. Do you not find it sad and un-nerving that many of the sub-articles in your post are many of the things we see the left wing in America proposing or have come to pass because of them. I imagine that those that agree will the Fla. Senator will bombard me with the thumbs. I remember America when she was truly free. If they knew the history of Iraq she is the birth place and cradle of Democracy. It is not that they do not hate the terrorist, it is they hate Bush and America more. I posted the link from a question from an Iraqi citizen thanking Bush,America and the Brits for their freedom and he was almost totally ignored on this site because liberating people does not fit into the Socialist agenda of todays left.

Just how has the military action taken in Iraq stopped terrorism? Saddam was not the al Qaeda poster boy, and was secular to the max. All we have done is destabilized a secular state and left the jihadists a free hand.
There are more terrorist acts committed now than ever before. How has military action helped? George W. Bush has done more to spread the terror and recruit jihadists that Osama himself!
Do I support the terroists? No! Do I support the blundering fools who are making the terrorists' points for them? No!
Bush is an incompetent, if not an actual traitor to the ideals and laws of the United States of America. Standing up and demanding that someone more able to actually represent us to the world be found is not supporting terror, but supporting reason.
In 1948 German commando leader Otto Skorzenay described the terrorist wars of the future. Too bad Bush can't read. He has sent our troops to fight an unconventional war armed only with conventional weapons and using only conventional tactics. Somehow, we have become the redcoats and the Arabs the minutemen.
Is it disloyal to complain that our national forces are misused, abused and wasted? Rubbish! Patriotism remains the last refuge of the scoundrel.

curiously a black guy won't be in a position to do something without "getting fortunate"... that's their declare for the different failed assaults below Obama, and specific, as you're saying, they forget approximately concerning the various different assaults after the worst one in united statesa. history, 9/11, and attempt to assert Bush saved us secure yet Obama is vulnerable on terror... only popular racist hypocrisy.

The United States and this Republican Administration of George W Bush/Cheney and supported by the Republican Right deserve to be criticized by the world.
THEY ATTACKED THE WRONG COUNTRY!
Most of our military is mis directed to Iraq a country that had nothing to do with the terrorist attack on this nation. Most of the terrorists who attacked us were Saudi Arabians.
Now this idiot administration supported by the Right wing of the Republican Party want to sell 20 Billion dollars worth of sophisticated military weaponry to Saudi Arabia.
Are the Republicans selling out our country?
Is it all about money for the military industrial complex who bribe members of the Senate and Congress?
Thanks

I think people do both actually. Your question intimates that people who criticize the US must therefore be against the US. Please give us some credit. We are capable of looking at all the facts and making critical assessments on both sides of the coin.

I'm sorry, are you correlating "taking military action" and "terrorism"? If I didn't know any better I would think that you are saying we invaded (ooopppsss, I mean liberated) Iraq because they were responsible for 9/11, OR, are you just saying that we need to spread democracy at gun point - D@MiT! What do you call this administration? Humanitarians? Saints? or cold-blooded, oppressive, fascist opportunists who sweat oil?

well... there's a lot you didn't say in this question... like you didn't say that you're not a nazi... should I assume that you are a nazi?
your entire theory is a HUGE ASSUMPTION... the assumption that what someone doesn't say could be or is true?
and of course the other issue here is.... I don't know anyone who doesn't criticize terrorists?
