Ridicule is highly under rated as a deterrent. I would laugh in your face, like that was the funniest thing I had heard all day, Come to think of it, it was the funniest thing I have heard all day. My wife and I laughed and pointed at 2 teenage girls who wore ridiculous clothes and hair styles about a week ago. Yesterday we saw the two same girls walking down the street in normal clothes. I have often wondered what would happen at KKK rallies if the bystanders would point and laugh as they said their foolish babble. I'll just bet they would move on and further bet they would get no recruits. Just like I would laugh at the foolish babblings you wrote in your question.
