mike irvin, once again, showed the qualities that make him what he is. i think he gave the absolute best hall of fame inductee speech that ive ever heard. he was surprisingly articulate, well thought out, gracious and very sincere. did anyone tonight give a better speech than him?

Irvin speech was the best tonight and the best that I have ever heard from a hall of fame inductee. The leading prayer was great, but the public apology to his wife was amazing. That had to be incredibly difficult.

Well, I'm a Bills fan....and I think Thurman's was better, obviously...but Michael's was one of the best I've ever sat through. Jerry Jones' presentation was one of the worst...he showed how little class he has. He could learn from Irvin...and I hated Irvin as a player and don't feel he should've been inducted so quickly

I also thought Irvin's speech was fantastic. He really laid it out on the line, and he had no media reason to do so. I gotta hand it to him. He maned up tonight.

Charlie Sanders won everyone over by talking about his late mother.
