I am the mother of 4 children.... My first pregnancy I didnt have any sickness til my 3rd trimester that lasted til I gave birth. Second child, I had evening sickness. I got sick shortly after dinner and lasted til bedtime. I did this the first trimester. Third child I was sick allllll the time! It didnt matter what time of day. Maybe cause this one was a girl! Fourth child, I barely had any sickness. It all depends on the pregnancy. I had 3 boys and 1 girl. Congrats!

I can assure you that if you do not have morning sickness, it is perfectly normal. From my own personal experience, I did not have it and I and my baby was fine.

To quote a professional, "Morning sickness, like a craving for pickles and ice cream, is one of those truisms about pregnancy that ain't necessarily so. Studies show that a little more than one-half of all expectant women experience the nausea and vomiting associated with morning sickness - which means that a little less than one half don't. If you're among those who never suffered from it, or who feel only occasionally or mildly queasy, you can consider yourself not only pregnant, but lucky." - p.115 "What to Expect When You're Expecting" by Murkoff, Eisenberg and Hathway, B.S.N.

Hope this helps.

"Morning sickness" is really a misnomer. (In fact, the technical medical term is "nausea and vomiting of pregnancy.") For some pregnant women, the symptoms are worst in the morning and ease up over the course of the day, but they can strike at any time and last all day long.

About three quarters of pregnant women experience nausea and sometimes vomiting during their first trimester. The nausea usually starts around six weeks of pregnancy, but it can begin as early as four weeks. It tends to get worse over the next month or so.

About half of the women who get it feel complete relief by about 14 weeks. For most of the rest, it takes another month or so for the queasiness to ease up, though it may return later and come and go throughout pregnancy.

By study about 95% of pregnate woman get it. So you must be in the bracket of the rest 5%. Good luck!

Oh I wish I never would have gotten morning sickness...:) nevermind, otherwise I would have never found out until the belly started growing...HA HA HA, I'm saying this because I got my period as I was supposed to in June (I didn't have a missed period to find out), that was my last one though... but yeah, morning sickness gets really bad sometimes. Anyway, some people don't get it at all...ask your doctor though, so you're 100% sure of your symptoms and what might be happening to your body during your pregnancy, not everyone is the same and not everybody gets the same symptoms, but you can ask your doctor and he should be able to tell you what you might want to expect during your pregnancy. Good luck and congrats!

I have had 3 kids. With the first one I had 2 weeks of morning sickness, with the 2nd 1 entire day and with my 3rd absolutely nothing. I prefer the 3rd and you should be glad however since it is only your 7th week I would start jumping for joy. Morning sickness can start and stop anytime during your pregnancy.

It will be different for every woman. So the morning sickness might not hit you until 8 or ten weeks or you may not get it at all. So that is normal for some people.

Yes that is normal. Some women dont get them at all...most do, so hopefully you are one of the lucky ones! I've spent pretty much my whole pregnancy(im now 35 weeks) suggesting to the doctors that something was wrong with me, since I didnt have many of the symptoms that pregnancy brings, but fate has caught up with me in my last two months, and i have pretty much EVERY symptom!!! I never even threw up, i did have some nausea, but i've never been sick from pregnancy. (Fingers crossed, only a few more weeks! :) )

I did not have any morning sickness with this pregnancy. With my daughter (my first) I felt sick, but never threw up. With my son (my second) I was very sick and couldn't drink water without throwing up. This is my third (a girl) and I haven't thrown up once. Some women never get morning sickness... some get it with some pregnancies and not others. It is nothing to worry about!!

Yes, it's normal. Everybody is different and some women have no morning sickness at all and others can have it longer than the 3 month time.

Morning sickness is not cool like "I just gotta have it because everyone else did!" Be glad that you do NOT! I wish I hadn't. I look back on that with a grudge. LOL. I threw up some good food!!! Just take it one day at a time, hun. Its normal to have no symptoms at all.
