OK..seriously. I know the answer to this question. There is X amount of water on the planet and in the atmosphere at any given time. It may be in a different form or location, but there is only X amount. The water in a watermelon has been pulled from the ground or the air. It was not "grown" or created. It just existed in another form or location. It is the same with matter and energy. We have what we have and it just a matter of harvesting. It was a cool thing to contemplate, though.

Wow! Great concept. It's just not very....uhhh...scientificaly possible. The water in the melon has come from the air and ground and has fed and become part of the melon, right? So...
let's say the seed that the melon grew from contains the other 5% of the miracle. It seems to me that you can get water from a watermelon, and you need water to grow a watermelon, and to grow more watermelons you need the seeds from the
watermelon you grew, plus, MORE water! Does that mean you can get water from a seed? Ahhhhhh.....this is not scientific! But it is fun. Now let's see if we can find a scientist .

Perhaps the other 5% is container, or rind? And how much water would you net? It takes a lot of water to grow a watermelon.
