including your question!!

( The point is always there, for us to find or to create
...................................................................
As long as
we keep questioning purpose
& searching for meaning
there would be a sense of point
in every step we take )

When you ask is there a point to anything, are you asking is there a purpose for everything? If so, my opinion is yes. If you believe in a higher power then this answer is definitely yes. Sometimes I ask myself questions to keep my sanity such as why are some people so ignorant (hateful people, careless people, etc.). Could we define intelligence without ignorance? So to make a long story short, yes. There is always a point but the answer (point) is found only if you care to look for it. I'd like to know what are you really referring to.

This is for the individual to determine. If you love something or care about it, then you have created a point.
Without human feeling, I do not know if there is any point.

There CAN be a point to anything.
There is NOT a point to everything.
What is meant by a "point"? People have different meanings for the word. Just look it up and see what you find. To me it is the same as "meaning". Not everything has a meaning. Are meanings born into us? Or do we decide on one ourselves?

in the long run, the sun will exhaust its supply of hydrogen, thus growing larger engulfing the earth in insane amounts of radiation. so if you see this as the sum of humanities efforts, the answer is no. the thing is, no matter how pointless you think something is, you can still be excited/bored/angered/jealous/sad because of it. this is because we all have emotions. if we didnt have emotions, then everything would indeed be pointless. but this is not the case. as humans, we are able to 'feel' things and be happy about them. enjoy life while you can, because in 5.4 billion years, no one will be able to.

For those who think there is a God, the point of life is to seek God. Otherwise there can be no point.

I think asking about the point to life is the same as asking what we are supposed to do in this life. Obviously, we can't invent the reason for our existence unless we claim to have created ourselves.

the only way you can have a "point" to your life is puting one there.

so no there isn't, but you can create your own.

so now you thinking " that would just be lying to your self.. thats would be just an illusion"

well i guess life is illusion. we need illusion, otherwise we would all go crazy. if we saw life for what it is. we would all kill our selfs or just take a load of heroin and die happy.

keep the illusion, your gonna need it

Yes, everything has a point. You just need to understand it.

I think the point to all life is to reproduce. You are born, grow, find a mate, have kids, and die.
