Whatever comes to hand, one at a time. Porridge for virtue. An egg for strength and iron, poached or soft boiled, or two if scrambled. Scrambled eggs with sliced Polish sausage or metwurst. Fluffy pancakes with lemon and brown sugar, or just golden syrup or treacle, for indulgence. Mushrooms with soy sauce and rum or brandy gravy. French toast for variety. Crumpet with an egg in the middle and cinnamon, buttered and fried. Blintz with mince or reheated beef stew. Rock melon and ice-cream. Fried onions (lots!). Welsh rarebit, or grilled cheese on toast with Worcestershire sauce. Steak, chops, bacon and onions for the bush. Any of the above or just baked beans, sardines, eggs, or porridge at sea. And always, orange juice (compulsory with eggs), and black coffee. Otherwise I don't care much. You can see I'm easily pleased especially when I'm cooking.

The PERFECT breakfast is not one I could eat every day because I'd weigh 500 pounds in no time... teehee.

There's an egg dish at a restaurant I love called a Baja Chicken Scramble ... the chicken is shredded and cooked with onions and bell pepper, add a little potato, some eggs, and top with two kinds of cheese and a delicious sauce and a little salsa if you like. Add an English Muffin and a dish of fresh fruit!!! Mmmmmm, delicious!!!

For a regular every day breakfast, I usually go for two pieces of a great whole grain toast with real butter and a large mug of tea with milk and artificial sweetener. Also delicious... just different!!! And if I'm really wanting a treat, I add some cherry preserves to the toast. Zip... I'm good to go!!!

Perfect breakfast? My omelete's made in the kitchen with the smell of coffee brewing and bacon on the griddle - to top it off a fresh newspaper from my driveway! That IS the perfect breakfast.

Have a good day!

Coffee and juice (orange or berry), a mixed fresh fruit salad with 3 kinds of berries plus papayas, mangoes and cherries, a fritatta with eggs, vegetables like broccoli or spinach, red peppers, onions and organic French goat Feta cheese, some thick rye bread and some sliced cucumbers. You can see I like to sneak in the veggies at breakfast. They're so good with eggs. Also, some smoked fish would be nice (salmon, trout or sturgeon).

Jasper is having an omelet and I want that, too! Sorry, it just sounds really good!
Guess an omelet would be my answer. Sometimes, I add cheese, onions, green peppers and a different meat to mine. Just depends on what sounds good

Good morning! How's your day going?

Ham & cheese omlette, fresh fruit and toast and though I've never had it, breakfast in bed with a special someone would make that perfect.
