Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul & Mike Gravel can gain audience applause at debates and command internet attention, but because they can't get the Corporate cash to bankroll them they get ignored and marginalized.

In part. The Presidential race is set up oddly these days. The primaries are so front-loaded that candidates need to have a big war chest to get past New Hampshire. The money goes toward the candidates most likely to succeed. So it's a little self-fulfilling, as it's difficult to rise out of the pack.

But it's not impossible. Howard Dean came out of nowhere four years ago, in part because of Internet fund-raising, to join the top rank of candidates. His problem was that once he got to the top tier, he didn't handle it well.

So ... you can't win without money, but it's no guarantee of success.

Yes. But there is alot more to do with fundraising than getting corporate backing. Remember Howard Dean was a media darling for his fundraising and it was almost all grassroots money.
