Commonly the eye makeup remover is hypoallergenic, should you get some in your eye it can be simply going to worm you slightly however it's not going to do any injury. It can be only a little bit of nuisance. The pleasant eyeliner remover is petroleum jelly, or an emulsion founded resolution section water (intellect you, purified water) and party oil, - ideally olive oil. You shake them collectively in a little dispenser bottle and pour the emulsion on a cotton ball. I for my part love the Mary Kay eye- makeup remover emulsion. I swear by it. If any individual that could be a magnificence consultant with Mary Kay, you can love it. Otherwise, use the residence repair I described for you, you are doing yourself numerous just right in the method. Just right good fortune!

The best eye makeup remover is what will work for you with the least amount of irritation to your eyes. For the last 4 ½ years, I have been using Almay Moisturizing eye makeup remover pads and a similar product by Andrea. Both of them contain mineral oil and can remove thick coats of waterproof mascara, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, and eye shadow. One side of the pad will remove all of the makeup for a single eye. If some of the mascara seems to cling to my lashes, I work the excess oil into my lashes to break it up. Then I use a wet washcloth to remove the loosened makeup and then take a shower.

There are other ways of getting off eye makeup. Some mascara instructions actually say that their product comes off with soap and water. Not me: even Ivory soap can irritate my eyes. I first used cold cream and facial tissues to remove eye makeup. It works, but it is messy and leaves a residue. For a long time, I used baby oil and cotton balls with good results. I was in the Army and found that baby oil could also remove the heavy, waxy camouflage makeup we wore in the field. Then one of my friends told me that baby oil can irritate the eyes, and she recommended a Maybelline non-oily eye makeup remover. I found it to be quick, neat, and very irritating to my eyes. Maybelline oily remover was messy and less effective than baby oil for me. A consultant at Ulta suggested L’Oreal Plentitude eye makeup remover. It comes in a big blue bottle and is applied with cotton balls. That product worked fine for me and did not irritate my eyes.

When I started change of life, my doctor put me on Hormone Replacement Therapy. The estrogen made me very emotional for a year or so, and my frequent tears washed away much of my mascara. I switched to a waterproof mascara, but I found that the L’Oreal Plentitude would not remove it. Another Ulta consultant suggested the Andrea or Almay eye makeup remover pads. Both are also available in a non-oily formula. Whatever eye makeup remover you use, make sure that it does not irritate your eyes, and be sure to wash off all the remover and makeup residue with plenty of water. Read the contents and be alert to any changes in the formula and your reaction to them.

I've tried a lot of different eye makeup removers, but the only thing that works for me is plain baby oil. Anything too heavy will drag on your skin (like vaseline), and ALL of the others burn my eyes.

Baby oil works (cuts right through the waterproof mascara, too), it doesn't clog pores, it's not rough on your skin, plus it's really cheap!

Vaseline or any type of lotion works, but personally I've tried that and thought it was really gross so I don't use that.
Instead, I use Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser. I put a bunch around my eye and on my makeup, then I use a wash cloth and dab it off and then gently rinse away the residue. Works like a charm!

Andrea Eye Q's are great for removing eye make-up. They are oil free so you don't get the same greasing feeling from regular eye make-up remover.
