My friends father died aged 44 from a heart attack, my friend worried through out his life about doing the same.
Guess what? He's just passed over, aged 44 from a heart attack, did he aid his demise or was it just coincidence

From the age of 18 to now at 44. I been blighted with problems especially suicide. Since the death of my parents, i have gone from suicide to being afraid of death, leading to agoraphobia. Time will tell.

Heart problems run in the family. Everyone on my mothers side has had it and I had my first one at 42 and then 3 more.
Stress is hard on anyone, but if stress could do it, I would have had many more by now. I lost my husband about 16 months ago and mom just had a severe stroke and is paralysed, and much more to add. I think anyone who has heart trouble in their family should check it checked, Drs also advise that.

Like a dog, some assailants are looking for the weakest link to attack, so the moment you fear it you become a target. As for health issues, perhaps the stress of too much worrying contributes to health problems. Also the resolve of fate in ones mind may keep someone from trying to prevent the problem through exercise & diet.

I'm sure that was just a coincidence, no amount of worrying about some one else is going to ruin their health and make that happen. If all else it would hurt the person who is doing the worrying, since all that worrying can make you stress out and get sick your self.

10 years ago when i had my first child i worried endlessly about meningitis (it seemed to be always in the news then) and every time she was ill i panicked, i was an over anxious mother. two weeks before her 2nd birthday she was ill and she was diagnosed with meningicoccal septicaemia. spent 8 days in intensive care. there is a phrase for what you are talking about but i can't remember it. maybe there is something in that. its like a self fulfilling prophesy!

she is healthy and well now. she was lucky.

"Your thoughts lead your feet". How you visualize your life is how you will live your life. If you live for years in fear of dying at age 44 from a heart attack you are programming yourself to follow that thought.

The only thing worrying can achieve is anxiety and stress, so don't do it. Especially as stress is a big cause of heart problems.
