The Native Americans of North America had several serpent-like dragons to their name. I can't leave out places like Canada, which also have dragon myths.
* Amhuluk
* Ancient Serpent
* Angont
* Gaasyendietha
* Gloucester's Sea Serpent
* Kolowisi
* Msi-Kinepeikwa
* Palulukon
* Sea Serpent of Spoonville Beach
* Stvkwvnaya
Oddly enough ours in the U.S seem to be water dragons

Dragons are recorded in cultures WORDLWIDE...if they didn't exist, then why are there so many recordings of them in cultures from different parts of the world?????? For example, the Viking Longships had a dragon head on their ships that looked EXACTLY like dragons in ancient mayan and aztec cultures in Mexico...how could two cultures so far apart, basically different ends of the earth, have the SAME description of these dragon like creature??? As far as history knows, Vikings and the Indians of mexico never had any contact with each other, yet they shared the same description of the dragon..............strange stuff huh......makes you wonder.

Yes, Native Americans told stories of draco. Every culture described dragons for centuries; even before America was "discovered".

IF my Dragonology book gains some of its information from local cultures and mythologies, then the American amphithere would have been the dragon roaming in North America. Amphitheres are dragons with no legs and feathery wings and frills.

Dragons were more probably dinosaurs so I think they lived in all parts of the world. That is not to put down anyones fantasy because we are still changing the way we look at dinosaurs.
