I found the way to get through a class the fastest is to actually try to pay attention. If you're listening the time doesn't seem to go as slow. If you can't do that, then you may want to consider bringing something to work on in class so it looks like you're taking notes.

Go to school with an open mind and observe all the stuff that's happening there.
Get involved in something that interests you.
it depends on your school. some schools are horrifying.
but even then you can sit back with your open mind and observe everything like you're at a movie.

well the best way to make the school days go by faster is to take an interest in what is being tough, everybody knows when you are enjoying yourself time just flies by. You can enjoy it. or hate it, it's totally your choice, but the choice you make will impact the rest of your life like no other decision you make.

Lazy people like to learn so they can have others work for them later on.
People who love to work and sweat and be frustrated by having to take stupid orders don't study and regard school like a jail.
The lazy people get to have the nice offices and cars and homes, while the "Gee how much longer do I have to stay in school?" folks get to carry the lazy people around on their shoulders.

Get involved in a bunch of after school activities. (sports, clubs, etc.) Make sure that you're having tons of fun within the year.

Personally I used to sleep. I'd wake up when the bell rang and it was like class flew by. I'd get my assignment from my friends and still did quite well in my classes, I guess that was why my teachers didn't care that I slept...kept my grades up.
