play station 3 problems?

i was playing my ps3 mlb the show and all of a sudden it just reset..i didentr think anything of it...then i started it back up and it did it like 3 mins later..so i guessed there was somthing worng with the outlet it was in i changed it and another 5 min later it did it again i gave it like a hour rest i thought mabey it was overheating but i went back and it did it again dose anyone else have this problem its really frustrateing

I've never had the problem that you have described. It may be a minor problem with your PS3. If I were you, I would email Sony's Customer Service Department if you continue to have this problem. Here is a link to the site:

Sony doesn't take emails on the weekend. It's usually takes Sony 24-48 hours to email you back if you have a problem. Sony does take calls on Sunday from 7a.m. - 6:30p.m. The phone number to call Sony is 800-345-SONY. I hope this helps.
