According to my mom, there was one time when I was about 3 when she left me in the car to get something from the apartment. I immediately opened the glove compartment because I knew that's where she kept the lipstick.
I opened the lipstick and twisted the bottom up and down. She unlatched the door and I immediately twisted it down, closed the stick, and put it back in the glove compartment.
She says that she asked me what that clear thing in the car was. I said, "Window." She said, can you see outside the window. I answered, "Yes." She said, I can see inside the window and I saw you playing with the lipstick." She said that I just sat surprised with my mouth open.
It's one of her favorite stories.
