How do you determine cell thickness?

All the methods I have found are too deep-- I need a simple explanation. :) Please and thank you.

I'm afraid there isn't a simple answer to your question, because different cells are different sizes. If you mean the thickness of the cell membrane, that of most animal cells is about 100 Angstroms. However, if you mean the diameter of the cell itself, there is no single answer.
