Definitely not the garden rooms. I never stayed in one of them but I walked by one and I didn't like the looks of it. I did stay in one of the towers though. It wasn't the best tower (I think that one is Paradise Tower) but the tower I stayed in was nice. There were mirrors over the bed, behind the bed, at one side of the bed, and I think in front of the bed. The room was done in bamboo. The bathroom was fairly large too (big tub/shower combo). I'd stay there again!!! One note though, it is a pretty good walk from the casino to your room.
One of the answers below me said Island Tower was the best. Paradise Towers are the ones that cost more so I think it is probably the better of the two. I stayed in the Island Towers; however, they were still decent rooms. The Paradise Towers is where you can get a view of the strip.

The Island towers rooms at the Trop are the best. the Paradise tower room are the next best and whatever you do; DON'T STAY AT THE GARDEN ROOMS BECAUSE THEY ARE AWFUL

suits would be best.
this is an older hotel and it shows.
but you can have a good time anyway
