There's this site they I've been apart of for less than a year, I don't go to it much but when I just tried to go on it, and search for it, it came up forbidden. And I do have an account there. I wasn't told of a ban so what happened?

Forbidden error tells you the page you are trying to access is protected, and you don't have permission to "see" it.

A website contains folders, and some folders are restricted, in this case, it gives you the "forbidden" error, because you aren't allowed to see it's contents, they could be the folder for scripts, images, or anything the webmaster decided it wouldn't be a good idea to let accessible

"403 Forbidden

The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled, it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 404 (Not Found) can be used instead. "

Some webpages only allow people coming from certain servers to see their contents and is not meant for general public. For example it might be a corporate information site that company doesn't want their competion to see.
You can try deleting everythign after .com/ and try to find that page from their main page.
