chan is not always used for girls.in anime,i've seen chan used for guys too

I don't know all of it but I do know "san" is a term of respect, like "mister" or "sir."

The word "Chan" means little girl or something like that. Me coming from Japan, but not Japanese, they called me (Name) chan. And they called my older brother (Name) san. I forget what "kun" means.

idk but i tough chan for girl san for boy,,and I see in animeeither boy or girl are called kun...idk.
NOTE:I'm not Japanese
