What does that mean, just curious.
Lets go Buffalo!

Van Miller used to say that phrase when he announced Bills games in the late 80s and early 90s. Chris Berman picked it up and now always says it when referring to that Bills era.

Chris Berman used to say that during the Bills' Super Bowl years, and he brought the phrase back for Thurman Thomas.

It's a tribute to the resiliance of the team. Buffalo lost the Super Bowl in 1991, and came right back to make it again in 1992. And then in 1993. And 1994. As time goes on, the accomplishment grows in stature. How many teams collapse the following year after reaching the Super Bowl and losing? Plenty. The Bills picked themselves up off the mat and went back to work.

Plus, the team had plenty of comebacks along the way in those years. The most obvious was the rally against Houston in the playoffs, coming back from 35-3 in the third quarter.

They sound like they're acknowledging that it's going to be a tough year and trying to set up an us-against-the-world type of mentality on thier team. They'll need it.
The saying stems from the settler days of America. When a wagon train would get attacked, they would put the wagons into a circle so they could defend all sides from attack.

I'm sorry to tell you that the Buffalo Bills are my pick for the worst team in football this year. They lost McGahee and Nate Clements, and I am not sold on Losman. They are in a tough division with New England and the NY Jets.
