Since you didn't specify puppet or real, I've listed them all.

"Ambrosius" was the puppet dog that "Sir Didymous" the little dog rode and "Merlin" was the real dog that Sarah had back home.

It is an Oubliette: a place to put persons to forget about them. Notably one of the most many traps in the Labyrinth one would fall into. They're apparently exitless, even though at the least one has a secret method out. Term comes from the French verb "oublier", which means, "to disregard"
