He is suffering from corporate preference. He cares more about corporations and communist China than he does about the working people of America. It wouldn't suprise if he was a Republican. How dissapointed Goldwater would be.

Maybe he wasn't attacking you. Maybe he saw how futile trying to buy American only products is and was pointing that out to you. Everything you see and touch has a part of it made outside of America. China is just the latest in a long line of overseas manufacturers. More will come after China. We can not make everything we need without foreign goods. We just don't have the resources here.

Don't understand what his problem could be.. however is would be very difficult to buy only made in America goods these days... even not buying Chinese is getting more difficult... one solution would be to push for the "Fair Tax" (consumption tax) then at least imported goods would be taxed and give American goods a level playing field.....

How can you buy American. Fords made in North Korea.
The best way to break the Chinese stranglehold is to boycott the big boxes, WALMART, Target, etc. that have destroyed our towns and cities while doing special deals with China.

Suffering from an addiction to low cost goods. As we all are.
People pay lip-service to "Buy American" but once the price of their jeans and DVD players REFLECTED that sentiment, people would be screaming from the rooftops.

I'd like a good example of how to avoid not buying products that aren't manufactured in this country.
Give us some guidance, if you would and kindly cover more items than articles of clothing and things like that. How about radiators, computer components, electrical components. Things that many people don't take into consideration. I want to know how to avoid those items and where to purchase American made products.
Thanks.

ron, for me a 5th generation American i would prefer product/ foods made from here, but..... america has priced itself out of the market and we have shown other countries with 4-5 times population of us how to produce with good quality, why not talk about the ruination of our country from the Unions, they were great at one time but have u read and understand how much a union person makes? dont worry WE will come out with new tech, new items that will be made here

Small businesses often seem to get products made in china because it is so much cheaper, otherwise, they probably wouldn't stay afloat. China is financially practical, and it's going to cost you a lot more to only buy american.
