Yes his name is Manuel and we've known each other for over 44 years and was always thought of as one of my many friends , race was never part of the equation truthfully even though back in the day many would try and influence that kind of behavior it never came between us or my other friends of color . He was and will remain one of my most cherished friends and we would stick by one another even today . I have many fond memories to share as well as many friends of color , people are just that to me and all receive equal respect from me . We became friends in kindergarden and went all through even high school together .

Honestly, no. I can't say I've got a friend of color, and it's more from circumstance than anything else. There was only one black guy at my Junior high, and none at my high school. In college, I met a great guy that was on the gymnastics team with me, but it had nothing to do with his color, he was just a great guy ... period. It seems hypocritical to want to get to know someone just because of their color. A person of substance wouldn't enjoy that, nor would I. I'm not going to go out for a beer with a guy just because of his color. Gotta have character and humor.

Ya My firs friend was African American his Initials are J.S we live in the same neighborhood i think we met when i was 7 and he was eight .We met at the park playing basketball after that we figured out we were in the same grade he got helld back.were still Friends till this day

I don't remember my first friend of a different race. I've always had friends from other races so that wasn't something I paid much attention to.

yes, her name is kamece and she was the funniest person I have ever met. but she was not allowed at my house cause i was white and her family didn't want her hanging out with a white girl. very sad. she is the ONE person from my past I would LUV to find!
