I understand sometimes in a 4 game series will last into monday and it's getaway day, but Yankees and the Jays on Monday is the first game of the series. Why is it on at 1PM? It's in Rodgers center and they have a roof so it's not a rain make up game.

It's a holiday for most of our country, which is why they play a day game.

For those of us in Alberta, it's called Heritage Day. Other parts of the country called it Civic Day, while B.C. has B.C. Day. There are other names for other provinces.

Only Quebec, Nunavut and Yukon don't celebrate with the rest of us.
