Am I the only one that's noticed this? There are so many bands that have done this, and I realize that sometimes it's of their own ignorance and they don't know any better. But most of the time they are fully aware. Can't they think come up with a name on their own?

Nice try Oaid 123, but the bands names you've mentioned were INFUENCED by another bands name. ie. Dread Zeppelin / Led Zeppelin.
I'm looking for an exact match ie. Rip Off / Rip Off.

Conie - I'll give you one example; 'Skid Row'.
They were a late 60's early 70's Irish heavy blues rock band featuring Gary Moore on guitar, and at one time featured Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) on bass and vocals.
There are plenty others. I'll enlighten you in a few days!
mrgrieves7 - Yes you're correct, Nirvana was a great late 60's pop/psych band from the UK.
They were quite well known overseas in the later part of the 60's. Their best album in my opinion was 'Local Anaesthetic'(released in 71). It had a much heavier progressive sound than their previous work and sort of sounded like a cross between early 'Ten Years After' and 'Slade' I guess. Worth checking out if you're into that stuff. Their earlier material was pure psych/pop, great stuff too!
There's 1 for the scoreboard!

Jerkyburp - Yes you are correct! Bush were a great band to watch live. The late Dominic Troiano was one hell of a guitarist. As a fellow Canadian, I saw the same show on Much Music.
Bush played at my high school in Toronto back in 1970 or thereabouts, along with many other Canadian bands, including Mainline, Crowbar, Steel River, Thundermug etc.
