congress control everything. then why does president get more media coverage than congress?

The President is like the Chief Executive Office (CEO) of the USA, Congress makes the laws and keeps the books, like the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CEO is the one who guides and speaks for the country (Co.) and generally gets all of the press. You never hear about the CFO in the news unless finances go south. Our Congress with Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and majority leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), we hear way too much from them these days. They should close their months and do their jobs. Maybe then their approveal rating would rise.

The executive and Congressional branches are separate but equal under the Constitution. Neither controls 'everything' and both have some separate special domains. The Judicial Branch is also equal to either but one normally sees even less press coverage for it. The people who control our news programming decide who gets how much coverage and that is largely decided by them picking whatever subjects they feel will deliver the most viewers to them thus assuring good ratings and profits from advertising.
