i need to it to go back to the origianl state when i 1st got it...i know on some computers you would have to press one of the f button keys on start up but i dont know which to press to reboot my whole computer....

see mine is an Emachines windows xp supposed to be a vista...and i dont think it came with a reboot disk..

I think you mean "System Restore".

If your computer came with a "system restore" disk, put it in an boot off the disk and follow the instructions.

Caution - all data on your Hard Drive will be deleted.

If your PC did not come with a system restore disk - the files are located in a special partition on your hard drive and you need to find the instructions on how to activate them. It's different for each make of PC.

I think your looking for Recovery or reformat. Reboot is just restarting or shutting down and turning on again by ctrl+alt+delete or from start.

F10 works on my computer. Press it on start up & follow destruct recovery. This should bring it back to factory settings.
