Fast food is generally considered unhealthy. Filled with transfats, calories, preservatives and stablisers.
Is there any fast food out there that is actually healthy

Eat an apple or banana. They're fast food and very healthy.

The fish in fish & chips is also quite healthy for you because it's "poached" in the batter. If you eat the fish but not the batter then you get to keep all the vitamins but not the fat.

Absoluteley nothing in MacDonald's (or BK or KFC etc.) is healthy except for their profits. "Small portions" is only less of the bad stuff and the so-called "salads" are an expensive con.
Buy a salad sandwich from Pret a Manger if that's what you want; or better still, get a salad lunch pot from a supermarket (better & cheaper).

Subway, Chipotle, etc. But you still have to be careful there because there's fatty cheeses and meats like salami and bacon at Subway, and Chipotle has beef and pork, and sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. None of those things are really bad for you, though, they are just higher in calories. Actually, you need all those things in your diet to be healthy! The key is a little bit of the fatty stuff. And I am probably the only professional nutritionist who will ever tell you this...it's stupid to say you can never eat a burger and fries at McDonald's ever again, but do it sparingly for a treat or special occasion and eat something healthy once you get home (like fruits and veggies) so that you get nutrients as well as those tasty fast food calories!

Some fast food chains have been making changes to make there food less unhealthy but it is still unhealthy and it will probably always be that way. Its worth going to a restaurant and waiting 10-15 min for a burger instead.

My husband made fun of me my last pregnancy because when we were out he asked what I wanted and I said vegetables. Finally 1 1/2 years later there is finally a fast food vegetable restaurant with a drive thru. Yes, I think all the rest is unhealthy. It too hard as it is for us to digest all that meat. Jennifer

Ya know what? If you eat any food in moderation, then exercise a little extra(walk to and from lunch) you will be fine.

Not much of fast food is good for you, but if you eat it once in awhile it won't hurt you either. Subway sandwich, salad, light chinese food wouldn't be bad.

I say brown bag a healthy lunch as much as you can and grab something you really like once a week. Keeps you on your diet/eating regimen too since you won't be craving something on your "bad list"

Although high in calories because it's deep fried, fish and chips came out as the most nutritious of fast foods in a survey I once read. If that sounds strange, even stranger was the fact that it was published in a healthy eating magazine!

Of course it can be healthy! Ignore all the people who obviously only know about maccy dees.
There's a place near me (Croydon/London) that does chicken wraps, cous cous salads, burgers and **** loads of other stuff that is all good.
Basically, if you avoid all the chains and franchises and stick with a small business you'll be fine because you can ask the people who work there what is actually in the food.
Theres nothing wrong with having fat/salt in your food (your body needs it). It's all good in moderation. Just avoid the big chains 'cos they couldn't give a flying f**k about anything else apart from making money. In small businesses if your lucky the owners still care about the food.

Subway is the only thing I can think of. Even things that are marketed as healthy in fast food chains, still have high sodium and fat content. If you want to be healthy, pack you're own lunch and skip the MickeyD's

YES. McDonald's has added a few healthy items. Arby's has a lot on their menu as well. Subway is known for their healthy items. The list goes on and on. If you're in dought just call ahead.

Subway can be healthy if you choose wisely. I prefer a soft taco at Taco Bell. It has more nutritional ingredients than most other fast food.
