Depends:
Cornflakes - Kelloggs
Baked Beans - supermarket brand
Cola - Coca Cola
Ice cream - Hagan Daas
Squash - Robinsons
Tinned vegetables and fruit - supermarket brand
Frozen vegetables - supermarket brand
Beefburgers - the cheapest
Bread - the cheapest [which is usually the supermarket brand but not always]
Marge/Butter - Flora Light/Anchor
Meat products - usually supermarket but which ever is the cheapest
Ketchups/Sauces/Pickles - leading brands
I don't do the shopping in our household, my husband does. He can scent a bargain and usually buys the cheapest but certain things have to be branded

Depends. If I need a quality product, like bug killer, I buy Brand name. Then I know it will work. If I am buying Mac n Cheese. I Buy supermarket brand. Sometimes paying extra buck is worth it.

Both brand names on some like Kraft mac and cheese, but on things that don't matter as much I definitely go for the savings and get store brand
