My son is 12, and he and his friend would like to make money. In the winter, they go door to door shoveling peoples sidwalks for $10. But what type of job would be like that for them in the summer? Please answer! Thanks! :-)

any outdoor labor would be great for a child at this age...mowing, yard cleanup, digging, small painting projects, dog walking, dog washing :P, etc...

Here are some suggestion if you have not already received this ans. walking the neighbors dogs. or asking just your close neighbors would it be OK to feed their pet while the owners are at work. Also in just your neighbor hood washing small cars, and cleaning the inside like cleaning the dash board and vacuuming.
Hope this was useful.

Oh just thought of one more idea.
Take the boys to a very nearby barber shop, and ask the owners if they would be interested in hiring someone to cleans the floor during business hours.
