This is an easy one. You can live like a king in Vietnam. You can retire and never work again for under a quarter mill. The banks here pay 10% interest. You can buy a house for under $30,000. A really nice house. Put the $250 in several banks in a couple of different countries. The $2000 a month that you will make in interest will be more than enough to eat every meal at a good restaurant, join the beach club, have as many drinks as you want to have every day and travel when you wish to. I know this for a fact. I am doing it myself. And love the life. I am living in Hoian Vietnam, a small river village in the middle of the coast line. The beach is white sands and 40 k's long. Beautiful. if you don't freak out and give your money to some bar girl you can live very well for the rest of your life and never work a day. If you want any more info let me know. There are negatives as there are any where in the world but they are not enough to have kept me from retiring here. good luck and have a pleasant retirement.

Don't go to Japan, because you will spend so much, but I honestly love Japan and it has just everything.

But besides Mexico you could try Canada, India, China, Korea, Something along the lines of that I am sure. And i think you sould wait a little longer then 40 at least 50, but that is all on you. Some people need their breaks long before 50. Good luck with trying to find something.

Belize brother. You can get by with English. The cultures all get along. Your close to Jamaica, Cuba, Miami and Mexico. Great corral reefs. Did I mention all the cultures get along? Great weather, cheap, slow life style, great fishing, snorkling kayaking and did I mention all the different cultures get along? See you there.

Why not Mexico? That's where I'm establishing my residence at, and I'm only 22.
