Open a lemonade stand. Make a big sign with lots of color on it. (if it's summertime) Make lemonade from really good lemons. Charge 2 bucks a glass.
Make cookies and take them to small restaurants to sell. wrap them in saran wrap and make them really big. Sell them to the restaurant for 50 cents a piece.

It really depends on your skill set, and whether you find the law to be an obstacle. If you don't, then prostitution and drug dealing are the fastest and most efficient. If, on the other hand, you plan to make money legally, then you'll want to examine your skills and qualifications and find a job that fits them. If you don't want a job but have some capital, you can buy & sell items on e-bay to make money fairly quickly. Of course, this path involves some risk, but if you know what you're doing and play your cards right you can make some big $ fairly quickly.

This summer I got sponsership to skydive for a local charity - there's so many ways you can help out charities near you too. A lot of charities have fundraising events that can always use an extra hand. Research some local charities, especially ones that aren't as well known that you can help fundraise for. You can organise a cake sale in your school, a sponsered marathon, a party or dance. Just make sure you have all the necessary permission, and let the charity know how much of the proceeds will be going to them etc. You could start organising a disco/dance now that can take place around Christmas. It will be a lot of work but definately worth it - the great feeling you get out of it is incredible. Good luck!

At 12, your options are very limited. Depending upon where you live and the time of year, you could baby sit, shovel snow, mow yards, clean houses, walk pets, etc.

Wait for a Nigerian prince to send you an e-mail or win one of those international lotteries. The lotteries are great you don't even have to play to win!
