Do you know the difference between the "Whatchoo lookin' at?" bark, and the "Boss, you'd better come runnin' !" bark?

I do now. That was one big ugly rattlesnake.

Sure our lab pup Jack has very different barks! He is amazing~ He lets me know a person is coming up the drive way long before I hear a car! If someone comes on the porch he barks! One day a kid that had not been over for a long time came into the yard to play with the kids~ he went to the kitchen and barked until I came, went outside to see who was there! One smart dog!

Yes I can tell the difference is all their barks, when their playing, someone strange is around, another animal in their yard (like a squirrel or chip monk), when it's my daughter or husband coming in. Their barks are different for everyone and everything.

Yes..my dogs both have different barks for different things. when it's someone or another dog it's more of a fast woo..woo. When it's something like a cat or possum or racoon it's a fast rabid sounding woo..woo..wooo. If my dog outside wants me it's two short woo woo's. There smarter than people give'em credit for. And they should have our attention.
