Very good point, the government (or anyone wishing to push an agenda) can make the numbers say what they want. The poor in America overall are the most affluent, well educated and well feed of even the middle classes of most countries. The fact that most politicians don't discuss and that most Americans know from personnel experience is that even if you start poor in America, you have more opportunity to succeed than anywhere else, if you work hard and make good decisions. I was quite poor when I got out of High School, and had no idea how in the world I would ever support myself much less a family. But here it is 25 years down the road, I have a wonderful job, loving family and a beautiful country. One of the things I have started to do since I have the time and resources now is to help those around me who need it. It is wonderful how this country can work if government will get out of our way and let us work and help each other out as God intended.

Pathmark is the all-time worst. It's only 10 minutes from my house and I don't even go in there anymore because the wait is so long. Instead I take the extra 15 minute drive out to Shoprite and I leave satisfied everytime.

Hmm...none but at one Ralph's, I met some really disgruntled workers who were really rude just because I told them that the item they were putting in my bag wasn't mine.
Costco has big lines though. Even if they technically aren't a supermarket.

Walmart! They have like 50 registers but only 5 of them are ever open!
Publix is great. Because they guarantee during the busy hours that all of their registers will be open!
