The aquarium is very nice. You might also think about the zoo, if it's not too hot. The Dali museum would also give the baby a lot to look at.

Well, s/he isn't going to remember much of anything.
Your main concern will be sun protection & changing.
The beach is great, but not reccommended for babies.
There's the Art Gallery & Dali Museum;-} they'll be bored.
The Sunken Gardens are worth a visit (for older kids).
There's Busch Gardens & the Aquarium in Tampa.
I guess sports events are out too.

old question, yet in case somebody new reads it: the human beings listed here are shallow and unfriendly. forget approximately appropriate to the prepare, the redneck governor shot that concept down. Clearwater is extremely conservative, a lot of NRA varieties. i think St. Pete is an outstanding, somewhat present day city, with solid arts and cultures, besides the fact that it incredibly is a chore to incredibly make pals everywhere here. all of it lacks community and that i does no longer stay everywhere in Florida if I had a decision.

Well since the baby wont remember the trip, how about splitting the babysitting with the two sets of grandparents.. and the two of you get away....... The baby will be fine and the grandparents will love it.
