i am permanent resident in canada. been living for 8 years. i still havent apply for my citezenship yet, but i had a surprise invitation from my friend a trip to Paris. I wanted to go but I am not sure where to start??help please.

You need to tell us where your passport is from, that would determine what, if any visas you need to travel to France. Call up Frances embassy and consulate and find out if you need a visa. This would depend on where your passport is from, not the fact that you now have Canadian residency. If you dont need a visa, just schedule a plane ticket, if you do, then it shouldn't be much of a problem securing a visa from the French Embassy.

There is no such thing as a Europe Visa. Visas are issued by individual countries. If you are going to stay in France for three months or less, you don't need a Visa to enter the country.

the only thing you need is your passaport you don't need a visa
