i never sleep clothed always bare i think its healthier and simple case of throwing the duvet back after that i sometimes leave the window open but mmmm in a bungalow it makes you here every car and bird outside xx

It is often a choice between the seagulls squawking all night and having the window open and being cool or not having to listen to the seagulls but being hot because you have shut the window due to the amount of noise they make.
We usually have the window open to begin with but at some point I usually have to shut it so that I can get some peace and quiet. My husband eventually wakes up and complains that it is too hot and opens the window. The seagulls noise re-waken me and I lay there for a while hoping to get back to sleep. If I don't, I shut the window the my husband wakes up and... I think you get the idea!!!!
PS. Ear plugs do not make the slight bit of difference, unfortunately.

Get hot first then hope the cat doesn't come between us, there is only so much hot furry bodies you can take in one night!
OK, in reality we got a fan in the bedroom.
Not sure who the fan is for but my man says it blows well......

It's already cool here. It hasn't started to get really hot in Sunderland yet. I think that's it and it won't get hot. Summer's over ..... pause for hysterical laughter.
