Just watching Gregory's Girl on BBC2 and want to know which part of Glasgow Claire Grogan was born in. I know she was born in 1962 and that Christine Kochanski, who she played in Red Dwarf, was from the Gorbals, but which area of that city is Claire really from? Long-running argument with the wife to settle.

Well done to those advising me that the lady in question was born in Glasgow - Durrrrr! Didn't your teachers tell you to always read the question?? This is a bit more challenging than using Google. So get the thinking caps on and let's see if anyone can narrow this down a bit. Isn't this what Yahoo Answers is all about?

oh god...not that film again....I hated her character...I hated the film in fact. Didnt she go on to Crossroads.? Sorry, dont know where she was born.
