It is actually not that hard to get a dealing job at a break in casino, but you will make $100 a day or less at most break ins. A dealer school will help you get an audition. It is when you are ready for a bigger casino when it is almost impossible if you do not know someone. Las Vegas is a city of who you know, not what you know.

You got to know someone to be a dealer but there are plenty of other job openings at casinos. Take a different job get to know the pit bosses and then apply to be a dealer.

oh wow... "you have to be oriental." how ignorant is that?

anyway, yes it is hard to get a job as a dealer. you'd probably have to start off at a crapier hotel off the strip or in downtown. like what most people said before me, in vegas you have to know someone to get in. whether it be cocktailing, dealing, working in valet, or even the spa you need to know someone who can hook you up and refer you.

According to what I saw a few weeks ago, you have to be at least female and oriental. What is the deal? Are they recruiting and training them abroad?
