I'm amazed that the idiot libs can't seem to answer this simple question without saying something negative about our great President Bush.

Which vote and what evidence do you have that they cheated? If you don't tell us that then your opinion, and the question, aren't worth much.

The answers above really are shocking in how much libs don't value our Founding Fathers. They support institutions like the hypocritical ACLU (who then sue others because of freedom of speech but the people their sueing can't have it). They also bash the Electoral College, which our Founding Fathers created (who also created, well i don't know, maybe our republic!).

But our government isn't by any means just the Dems' faults (I have to admit many of my own party are to blame so aswell). The republican controlled congress I have to say did a pretty horrible job (through Democrat-like spending) and Dems though now are using that to justify their own mad spending spree (crazy!).

Our Constitution never gave the government the right to redistribute wealth (which is basically what the Democratic Party is based on), so I'll leave with this, maybe we should all be thinking how we could actually work together (as our past generations did during the World Wars) and brace ourselves for the coming years in which we have to be resiliant and unrenlenting when facing the Islamo-fascist terrorists that ARE trying to destroy our Western civilized way of life.

No, they didn't cheat on the vote. One person (the current House chair handling the vote at the time) violated procedure. And yes, that is a bad thing. But it happens a few times every term without this kind of media frenzy.

The solution -- as offered -- was to retake the vote, with the full roll call. That option was rejected.

However, most of the people (Congressmen) who were complaining loudly on the news seemed more upset that people were voting against their proposal, rather than at the procedural problems. One Republican Congressman (on Fox News) flat out said that it was wrong for the Democrats to have voted against their proposal, and they should have just let it pass without even voting.

Which clearly indicates that the problem wasn't in what happened procedurally. Some people just don't like to lose, and take any opportunity to complain.

On Gore's watch, we might have actually chased the right person responsible for 9-11. Remember, that guy Osama Bin Laden? Well he was reported to be possibly in Afghanistan or Pakistan. Plus most of the terrorists happened to be Saudi's. Your great President chose to ditch him and the Taliban in favor of Iraq though. If Gore were president, we might actually have found Osama by now instead of getting ourselves into a quagmire in Iraq. What a great job we are doing there too........how many soldiers needlessly killed or wounded? How many Iraqi's dead or wounded? Bet you don't even know yourself since you seem to be an expert on the matter.

Welcome to yahoo answers.

I agree with you completely. You must be right. Those libs are always cheating. Only Republicans are honest. Only conservatives are good. And only you, posting two questions only on the board (?) are truly politically knowledgeable.

So. Are you really new around here, or are you just another one of the myriad GOP paid posters who changes his screen ID every other day and posts the same inane, unsupported comments ad nauseum?

Incidentally. If 9/11 had happened on Gore's watch, I bet they would have caught Bin Laden by now.

you're thinking of the republicans in 2000, when they claimed that a bunch of people in this largely jewish community voted for an independent no one heard of. if the votes had been counted they way they most likely were (to Gore), he would have won (and yes, i know. technically he did win the election; the electoral college is a joke)

Oh yes, that's right, it was a Democrat president that was elected on 00 and 04, not by majority vote but only by the electoral college. Right...

They cheated, Im 180% sure they did because of one main factor. It is because they hate freedom and the bible and they just wan't to give money away to the poor because they r stupid and dumb. They cheated as much as Bill Clinton did with Monica. Nice Move bill. I wish George would make a move on Condy

They don't have to cheat to get votes, unlike Bush who had to.
People put Democrats in office because they see what a horrible job Republicans are doing. In foreign policy and domestic, the Bush Republicans only care about those who bribe them and that is it.

YES, they did cheat on it. How ironic huh? Dems - short for Democrats which comes from the word "democracy." The irony is hilarious isn't it?
