I bought it from an auction and would like to know about it. This is the info
Towa Astronomical Telescope
Model # 337
D 80 mm
F 1200 mm
Does anyone have or know where I could purchase a book or a website about the telescope?
That would be great!

The Telescope is made in Japan and is actually a very good quality F/15 Refractor.
This is very traditional quality and not at all the same as today's shorter focal length counterparts. This scope should produce excellent images.
For more info, try the forums on "Cloudy Nights"
( they have an old or antique telescope section there) or check out the forum on "Astromart"
That should get you started.
Good Luck!

I don't know much about the 337 models but the 339 ones were made in Japan and sold under different brand names in the U.S. and Canada in the 70's, Meade and Tasco being two of them.

They are considered to be vintage refractors of surprisingly good quality and people generally like them. They have retained some value and are usually easy to sell.
