At your earliest convenience (Monday morning!!!) go to the clerk of court to request another court date. You will probably have to pay a contempt of court fee for not showing up on the original date.
And yes, there is probably a warrant for your arrest posted. That is a usual when citizen ignore court dates.
If you are stopped and your name is run you will more than likely be brought in to appear before a judge. (What you were supposed to do all along.)

Go to the DMV.. make sure you have plenty of money.. you will have to pay the original fine, then a late fee.. and you'll have to pay a fee to have the bench warrant removed. Better to go to them and take care of it, because if you get pulled over for something else, the warrant will show up and they will take you to jail no matter what you do or say....

Call the court and pay, they probably won't even say anything to you. You WILL get arrested until that point so I would stay home for the weekend. You aren't going to jail over something that stupid once you straighten it out, though. It shouldn't go on your record.

Your best option (other than consulting an attorney) would be to contact the clerk of court where you were supposed to show up and ask for a new hearing date....
You can also contact the prosecutor assigned to your case, which you can find out from the court.

I'm not sure if you'll have a warrant out for your arrest... I actually highly doubt that. But I think if you don't show up for your court date, they suspend your license. I just got a ticket a couple days ago for speeding, and on my ticket it said that if I don't show up for my court date, my license is suspended. So I'm pretty sure that's what'll happen to you, too.
