The knot is a symbol of infinity and shows the interconnectedness of everything despite how far apart they seem. It was also seen as a protection charm against the evil forces in the land. The knot is a wonderful thing to have around you, symbolizing how connected we are, the infinite world that is without any real begining or end. It can be said for certain in ancient times when it was developed it has a more spiritual and significant meaning than any meaning we can put to it now.
